wide range of medical, surgical, emergency and community services
as well as a range of paediatric, neonatal and specialist

The
safety and care of our patients is our top priority and at the
heart of everything we do. The Trust has a team of highly skilled
consultants, doctors, nurses, midwives and other clinical staff to
care for our patients.
We provide hospital outpatient and community clinics as well as
inpatient wards and emergency treatment for care of people with a
wide range of medical and surgical conditions and injuries.
Recent Restructure
The Trust has recently undergone a restructure, and has five
clinical directorates, in addition to corporate and support
services:
- Women’s and sexual health
- Children and young people
- Specialist medicine
- Acute and elderly medicine
- Surgical services
Patients' Charter
The Patients' Charter
puts the patient at the heart of everything we do and we have a
Patient Advice and Liaison
Service (PALS) which provides
help, support and advice to patients, carers and relatives.
