Important Information For Patients
We would like to reassure patients that no services are
changing now and all services are running as usual.
You may have heard about A&E and
maternity services changing in the future - but this will not
happen overnight.
Alternative arrangements would have to
be in place, and the Government has talked about changes taking
place over a three year time frame.
It is important to stress:
- Our 24/7 Emergency Department and
Urgent Care Centre continue to run as normal
- We continue to provide full maternity
services
- All scheduled appointments will
continue unaffected
- Patient safety will always be our
first priority
- We will continue to provide the best
quality care for the people of Lewisham
